(a) WORD (b) TEACH
Solution: For the first word
It has four letters. Began with the permuted therefore in four P four ways. Four P four is equal to four factorial i.e. equal to four into three into two into one i.e. equal to 24 ways.
For the second word TEACH
It has five letters. Began with thus permuted therefore in five P five ways. five P five is equal to five factorial i.e. equal to five into four into three into two into one i.e. equal to 120 ways.
