Construction of a Tangent to a Circle at a Point on it.
Given : A circle with centre O and a point A on it.
To construct a tangent at A to the circle.
Steps of Constructions
Join AO.
Draw CAT perpendicular to OA i.e., construct angle OAT is equal to 90 degrees and TA to C.
Therefore, CAT is the required tangent.
